Suffering From Headache, Cramps, Diarrhea. Had Intercourse After Conception. Periods Started. Can I Still Be Pregnant ?
Question: Hello Sir, i had my first day period on May 6th,2012.... After my conception date we had intercourse atleast more than 6 times. Also in May month end,i had head ache, body tired, poor backache, small cramp in my stomach, had diarrohea for four days continuously, was full tensed and lost interest in my office works for 2days. I suffered with the above symptoms for four days, not more than that but i didnt feel hungry and didnt pee often. But i felt something different. While searching in net we (me and my husband) assumed that i was pregnant. We were happy. But unfortunately now i got my periods today (Jun 3) but i am not having strong flow yet. So is there any probability of being pregnancy still? Please advise me it would be a great help for me. I am breaking my head since morning. But badly i am wishing being pregnant this month only. Is there any chance? Because i read that some women might have bleeding but inspite of that they would have chance to conceive. So i suspect that the same thing could happen in my case too. Also is it possible to check now using pregnancy tester? Please sir, it would helpful if you explain me briefly. Thank you so much for your help in advance!!

In your case the bleeding can be either due to menstrual period or due to implantation. You can find it out by the following information.
In menstrual period bleeding, colour of blood is bright red, but brownish or pinkish in case of implantation.
During menstrual period, bleeding is generally heavy, while very light or spotty in case of implantation.
If menstrual cycle is regular with duration of 28 days, bleeding due to menstrual period occurs generally on due date, but prior to due date in case of implantation.
In menstrual period bleeding continues for 3 or more days, but not in case of implantation.
Based on above information, if you think that bleeding is due to implantation, you can get pregnancy test done after a couple of days.
If it seems to be due to menstrual period, please do not get discouraged.
I shall like to know that for how long you are trying to conceive and what do you mean by conception date.

Thank you so much for your prompt response..We are trying to conceive since march 2012 properly. After intercourse i used to go rest room and wash it off regularly. Could that be the reason am not getting pregnant? I am not sure please advise me. I meant the conception date as, in net i referred one calendar. Through that i came to know my conception date is 21May. What is conception actually? Yes, my blood stain is not in fresh red colour it is like brownish stains moreover still strong flow have not yet started. Just a spot thats all until now from morning 10am.

So its confirmed that implantation doesnot occur during due date, like what have happened to me now.. so its like confirming that this is Menstrual periods only :( ... We got married on Feb 2010. Its been 2yrs 4 months. My age is 23(started just now). His age is 30. We are very much sexually active. In case if this bleeding is because of implantation then how long the bleeding continues?? The implantation bleeding generally doesn't continue for more than few hours. Implantation bleeding generally occurs prior to due menstrual period date, but it is not the rule. If ovulation occurs late, implantation bleeding will also be delayed. Thus if bleeding does not become heavy within three days, it can be due implantation also.
You can predict date of ovulation through Calendar method also, but it will be better to use Ovulation Prediction Kit for more accuracy.
You should have intercourse on the day of ovulation & for a couple of days thereafter. Abstinence at least for a week, prior to date of ovulation will improve quality of semen, thus will help you to conceive.
After intercourse you should take rest at least for few hours in the bed itself, & you should avoid washing. Washing just after intercourse will definitely decrease chances of conception.
Conception means fertilization of egg. After intercourse semen is deposited inside vagina. It takes some time to get liquified. Then healthy & motile sperms enter in the uterus and ascends through oviduct. After ovulation ovum also comes down through oviduct. When sperm XXXXXXX the ovum in the oviduct, one out of it fertilizes ovum and zygote is formed, which gets implanted in the uterus.
