Suffering From Severe Headaches. Not Cured By Medicine. What Is The Problem?

However there does not seem to be any improvement in her health. The headaches are still there and she has of late feeling nauseous and has fainted a couple of times.
Thanks for posting your query and uploading the reports. I have seen it and there is nothing abnormal in the report.
Your daughter is having headaches for 1 week now and she has nausea feeling and has fainted a couple of times. I have reviewed the routine reports. I would like to have some additional information:
1. How long do the headaches last and how does she get relief? Is the headache constant?
2. Any low-grade fever?
3. Any stiffness of the neck?
4. Any history of fever, sore throat, etc. in the recent past?
It is quite unlikely that your daughter requires psychiatric treatment. She should be re-examined by the pediatrician/neurologist, which should include a fundus examination and further investigations. There can be a number of reasons for these symptoms and it would not be possible to enumerate them. However, the follow-up with the doctors should make the diagnosis clearer.
I hope I have provided guidance to your satisfaction and wish all the best to your daughter.

RKK

Thank you for the feedback.
I would have appreciated the additional information that I had requested. However, as the doctor has advised a CT scan and deworming medicines, it is advisable to get the CT done at the earliest so that the diagnosis is clinched sooner than later. Please discuss with your doctor and, if required, get a neurologist's opinion.
I hope I have provided guidance to your satisfaction.
Wishing your daughter a speedy recovery.

RKK

Thank you for the inputs.
With the history of fever a month back and now headache, stiffness of neck, I would suggest that you get her re-examined by the doctor/neurologist. Get the fundus examined, CT scan done and if need be get her hospitalized for further management.
Wishing your daughter all the best...
