Brief Answer:
You need to repeat the test after 1 month of diet control

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir,
Your fasting and post prandial sugars are high. Fasting blood sugar level less than 100 mg/dL (5.6 mmol/L) is normal. A fasting blood sugar level from 100 to 125 mg/dL (5.6 to 6.9 mmol/L) is considered prediabetes. If it's 126 mg/dL (7 mmol/L) or higher on two separate tests, you have diabetes. The following are my recommendations :
1) strict diet control like having minimal amounts of carbohydrates, moderate amounts of proteins and very low fats.
2)daily exercise for 45 min atleast 5 days a week is recommended.
3)avoid sugar containing beverages.
4)Take fibre rich foods
5) After 3 weeks, blood sugar levels must be repeated.
6) If your sugar levels are high, you need medication.
Hope i have answered your question. Please let me know if you need any further assistance. Thank you.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
First practice diet restrictions and exercise for 3 weeks.

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir,
You need to follow diet restrictions and exercise as mentioned in my previous reply and then get tested after 3 weeks. Even then if your levels are high, you need to take medication.
So, right now you don't need medication. Have a glucometer at home to check blood sugar levels yourself.

Hope I have answered your question. Please let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care.
