Suggest NSAIDS While On Blood Pressure Medicine

Question: i don't take NSAIDS because of I am four blood pressure pills (in four categories). Will willow bark have the same negative effect or is there something (other than Tylenol) I could take with a minimum of interaction or side effects?

Hello,

If someone of this nature and complexity comes to my clinic I would definitely put him on Acetaminophen plus Oxycodone (instant release) up to 5mg / codeine up to 60. You should also ask your doctor about a very low dose cymbalta kind of medicines which acts on pain threshold. If you are looking for immediate pain relief you can up the dose of Tylenol to 1000mg.
I am not sure about the pain relieving effect of willow bark and its interaction on the four BP pills that you take.
