Question: I really need some help here. I took a at home std test and found I have syphilis. I absolutely can not go to my doctor or a clinic I need to treat it on my own. I'm allergic to penicillin so that won't work so what other antibiotic will knock it out .

Before advising medications to treat Syphilis , one thing you need to know is Home STD tests may show false positive result. You need to get it confirmed by other specialised test.

In patient's allergic to Pencillin , Doxycycline is the best alternative . It comes as tablets and need to be taken for 14 days. But again you need a valid prescription from the doctor to get this drug .
