Brief Answer:
Balanced diet with fresh fruits and healthy fats.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Thanks for posting the query.

Maintaining a healthy and glowing skin is just about being aware and alert concerning diet and lifestyle. To start with, a balance diet with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables (antioxidant sources) is all that you need. Fats are also very important as the skin friendly vitamin, Vit. E is a soluble in fat only. Therefore, a careful selection and wise inclusion of fat would help in maintaining weight, managing cholesterol and improving skin health.

Although saturated fats have gained a bad name, but trust me small quantities if it are still good. Nuts and oil seeds are excellent sources of good fat and also help in improving the HDL (good), cholesterol profile. You may also consider fish oil capsules.
Include raw salads and vegetables, and shift to low fat dairy for a glowing skin.

Here are some simple tips you keep the skin healthy:

•     Cleansing is an integral part of skin care, not only externally but internally as well. Starting the day with a glass of Lukewarm lemon water with honey, cleanses the body and skin.
•     Take good fats, like soaked almonds and walnuts, peanut butter and liver oil capsules.
•     Green tea / Ginger tea with lemon and mild black coffee provides antioxidants and improved integrity of skin.
•     Fruits like banana, apple, watermelon, XXXXXXX and papaya are particularly important for skin health. Being rich in minerals and vitamins, they have many benefits like anti-ageing, and regenerating effects. They also improves the skin texture, elasticity, radiance and softness.
•     It is very improvement to exfoliate the skin regularly, a mask of mashed apple pulp, honey, XXXXXXX water and oatmeal, serves as an excellent exfoliating agent.
•      Include fibrous foods in the daily diet to support digestion and maintain regular bowel movements.
•     Regular sleep and sufficient intake of water and other non-sugary liquids is recommended.
•     Avoid fatty, fried and too much refined food.
•     And lastly, always use protection against sun while going out. A good quality sunscreen would be sufficient.

Hope this helps. Please write back if you wish to have further discussion.
