Suggest A Diet Plan During Pregnancy When Appetite Is Low

Question: Im 7 weeks pregnant and have had a previous miscarriage

I have pcos and slighly elevated insulin

Im taking metformin and have been advised not to eat rice, potato ghee etc.

What is a recommended diet as I have low appetite... Also is milk safe

Since you are having deranged blood sugar and you are on metformin, you should take high protein low sugar diet.
It consists of :
Breakfast: 1 glass milk and a katori of XXXXXXX
11AM: 1katori sprouts
Lunch: 2 chapati, I katori Daal, vegetables, 1 plate salad
Evening: 1 cup tea and 2 XXXXXXX biscuits/ sattu
Dinner: same as lunch
Milk, milk products like cottage cheese, curd and chena can be taken without sugar.

Hi dear, you should avoid added sugar, sweets, banana, mangoes, fried puri, parantha frequently. Avoid too much of potato, rice intake. You can take XXXXXXX preferably as salty XXXXXXX khicri . Pasta should be preferably avoided.

Thank you doctor... Just wanted to know a couple more things... I feel extremely tired is there anything that can relieve that

Also, is rice puffs and poha, besan, brown bread, makhana, suji fine to eat ...

You should avoid heavy work and strenous jobs, and have adequate rest and nutritious diet.
You should also get your thyroid hormone levels checked, as its derangement can also lead to excessive tiredness.
Yes, you can have all the above food items.
