Detailed Answer:
My very dear patient!
I welcome you at my virtual clinic and want to reassure you that its one of the best food plans one can have with diabetes. Good thing is that you have frequent divided meals. Modifications are:-
In meal 2 take only 1 egg white and also curb some potatoes.
In meal 4 you may take only 2 ounces of grilled chicken(only twice weekly), as you are already hypertensive with swelling problems.
Meal 6, take only 2 ounces of beef(only twice weekly).
You are a good dietician too. I appreciate the effort you put to come up with much balanced diet plan.
Add more leafy salads and green leafy vegetables if you feel better with veggies. One thing you forgot is the physical activity. You are overweight, and obesity leads to insensitivity of insulin receptors, aggravating the diabetes issue.
Hope it reinforces your plans and helps you achieve your goals. Please don't forget to give a five star review to rate me better so that I may be in a better position to help you in future too. Feel free to "Ask me a question" directly from my profile.
Regards!
