High fibre diet with slowly absorbing bicarbs and leafy vegetables

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to HealthcareMagic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible.

Based on the history you have shared, since vegetarian meal is asked, it takes out all protien rich meats out of equation which are otherwise low in sugar content and high in protien contents. So the other options like pulses, can be chosen in small amount like a cup of pulses evry second day can be used.

Those diets which have low calorie value are ideal to be used. The vegetables with more leafy part and less pulp are ideal. Similarly if per day calories content is retricted to 1000 to 1500 only, and is split into multiple small meals instead of one large meal, it would let the body sugar contents to remain stable mostly.

Similarly less sweet fruits, like small apple, citrus etc can be taken regularly. Strictly avoiding bakery foods or processed meals and keeping the starch levels low is better.

Alongwith that life style modification and brisk walks with regular excercise can be of help. Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
