Further workup is required if TMT is positive.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,
I would like to tell you that if your Treadmill Test came out positive then it requires further evaluation of the severity of coronary artery disease.
Another thing that I've seen in your TMT report which is indicating towards right coronary disease is your slow heart rate and changes in inferior leads which is why you should not avoid angiography.
Angiography will tell you what kind of disease is present in your arteries and will help in the line of treatment whether interventional or medicine.
Lifestyle modification for better health and preventive treatment for heart includes:
1. Healthy eating habits
2. No smoking/drinking
3. Regular physical exercise
4. DASH diet for cholesterol control
It's advisable for you to get your angiography done for better evaluation and if you are not comfortable with angiography then you can ask your cardiologist if CT angiography can be done.
Hopefully, this information will answer your query.
Kind regards,
Dr. Bhanu Partap, Cardiologist
