Suggest A Food Diet Plan To Avoid Upsetting The Stomach While On Pregaba, Livogen-Z And Gemer-P2
Question: Dear Sir/Madam
My Mother Has undergone Bilateral Knee replacement on 30th March 2018 its 26 days over now.From past 3-4 days my Mother is complaining about Stomach Upset(2-3 occurrences) if she eats anything hard she would be passing hard stools 4-5 times
Currently she is on following medications
She is currently taking following medication
Sompraz D 1 - 0 -0 before food
TAB PREGABA 1-0-0 AFTER FOOD FOR PAIN
LIVOGEN -Z IRON TABLETS DAILY ONE TABLET
TAB GEMER P2 1-0-1 BEFOORE FOOD FOR SUGAR
Could you please let me know what food can be given to avoid stomach upset and what would be the reason for stomach upset .
Any tablets can be given to avoid stomach upset or any test should be performed to check the issue

So, for a few days you can ask her to skip the tablet and wait.
For hard stools, i usually add Syp Duphalac 15 ml in night in such case scenario.

Livogen Z is bieng taken by mother Post Surgery its already 30 days over now .But from past 3-4 days she is facing Stomach Upset( intermittently)

Acidity is the probable reason.
Detailed Answer:
Stomach upset is just because of acidity. Levogen can aggravate it.
Soft food includes daliya, khichdi , breads.
In my opinion stop Levogen for a few days and see response.
It can be started after 5 days, if you find no difference after stopping Levogen.
Still, if the problem persists, get her Liver function test and Ultrasound Abdomen.

We have Done Test 15 Days back attached the result for the same could you please review and let us know if we need to take any immediate attention.

Just give her green leafy vegetables and pomegranate as they are rich in iron and as we are transiently stopping the iron supplement.
