Brief Answer:
Cyclophosphamide can also help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Wegener's granulomatosis is an immune related disorder which is best managed by the use of immunosuppressants like prednisolone. This is associated with side effects like osteoporosis over a long term use.
The other immunomodulatory agents and cytotoxic agents like cyclophosphamide are also used but it needs a proper assessment of the severity of the disease before starting the treatment.
You can consider a reduction in the dose of the prednisolone after consulting your treating physician.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
