Suggest Alternative Medication For Azatadine
Question: I presently suffer from allergic reaction, face and neck, itchy and red and some swelling of the face, in past I suffered from hives all over my body, I was prescribed the drug optimine/azatadine and it worked in less than a day my hives were gone. Unfortunately optimine is discontinued. What allergy drug would you replace it with

I been on Singulair for 4 days and have not seen any improvement, should I stop taking it and start on loratadine?

Continue singulair. You should add loratidine to singulair. Both can be safely taken together. Both of them are different drugs. Singulair is LTR antagonist whereas loratidine is an H 1 blocker.
