Suggest Alternative Medication For CVS Diaper Rash Cream Used For Allergy
Now I am using CVS Diaper Rash Cream Ointment on an unrelated problem and that problem does not seem to be improving - as a matter of fact it is getting redder and sorer.
Could zinc be the problem? Are people allergic to zinc? Or, do the two ointments share other ingredients that may also be known to cause allergic reactions?
I don't think it is due to zinc allergy.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
No zinc allergy is not possible.
So I don't think it is due to zinc.
Both these ointments are not sharing common ingredients.
So possibility of allergic reaction due to diaper rash cream is less likely.
In my opinion, you are mostly having infection and related rash.
So better to consult dermatologist and get done clinical examination of rash to understand the etiology.
Don't use creams without prescription of doctor because your rashes are worsening.
So consult dermatologist and get done clinical examination then start appropriate treatment.
Zinc is not the problem.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
