Brief Answer:
Zolpidem (Ambien)

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I am Dr.Barani and I am pleased to assist you.

You can continue taking rabeprazole if you have GERD. Nighttime reflux also can affect sleep. But long term rabeprazole is not advised in elderly individuals as it can weaken the bones. You can take zantac or pepcid instead.

And medications for sleeplessness should only be the last option.
First you need to find out what is affecting your sleep and treat it.
You can try cognitive behavioral therapy and relaxation techniques.

If zopiclone is not effective, you can try zolpidem ( Ambien).

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Regards,
Dr.Barani
