Question: I've had diarrhea for the past two weeks. I also have a lot of gas. I've been taking Pepto Bismo. It hasn't helped.

I am so sorry to hear about this persistent diarrhea. For two weeks and still going, it means there is a genuine cause which needs to be evaluated and addressed. The most common cause is an infection and a stool exam will provide answers to that and guide treatment accordingly. If answers are not gotten from this exam, then expertise care with gastroenterologist would be sought. For now, drinking much water as required is the best way until the exact cause is identified and treated accordingly.
