Suggest An Effective Alternative For Gabapentin

Question: I Have Neuropathy but I'm not diabetic is there a medication that can help me better than gabapatin?
Brief Answer:
Read below.
Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I am sorry about the pain you seem to be in.
Gabapentin is a good first choice drug, so I would first make sure the highest dosage has been tried, I usually go up to 1800 mg a day (can go even higher actually).
If the highest dose doesn't work then other drugs include either another anticonvulsant like Pregabalin, or better try a different class used for neuropathic pain like antidepressants such as Duloxetine.
2nd and third line options which can be used as adjuncts may include Capsaicin spray, an opioid like drug like Tramadol and as a last resort opiates.
I remain at your disposal for other questions.
