Suggest An Ideal Food Chart For A 5 Month Old Infant
Suggestions on complimentary feeding
Detailed Answer:
Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.
As per World Health organisation recommendations, it is best to give only milk till 6 months are completed. But if it is really imperative, these are my suggestions -
At this age you can start giving Cerelac stage one rice or Nestum rice stage 1 etc. All are same in calories and energy. Only thing is palatability which is subjective for each kid.
You can give moong dal or dal with rice base.
Other home-made food options will be -
1. Daal and rice well cooked and made into a porridge along with ghee
2. Boiled apple or banana and mashed into a paste.
3. Any made cereal porridge preparation with additional ghee added.
Remember certain principles like -
1. Add one food material / cereal or fruit per week. This will be useful because if he develops vomiting or diarrhoea, we will know what to avoid.
2. Add vegetables and fruits made into a paste surely to avoid constipation.
3. Do not add too much sugar as it may cause diarrhoea.
Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.

Complimentary feeding
Detailed Answer:
Hi... that is the reason I also suggested you about the World Health Organisation recommendation of giving only milk till 6 months of age.
Sometimes Babies may not be able to digest the cereals before 6 months of age.
There is no specific quantity to start with. Best thing will be to start with a spoonful quantity initially. If the baby is feeding well and enjoying the feed, without vomiting or diarrhea, then you can gradually increase the feeds depending on baby's acceptability.

It is better to give PCV
Detailed Answer:
Hi....it is better to give PCV. But at the same time giving PCV we will definitely offer 60 to 70% protection against invasive pneumococcal disease. My suggestion will be to give it.

That is fine - you need not worry
Detailed Answer:
Hi... a baby taking 900 ml of formula per day and urinating like this is normal. Even more so as the temperatures have started falling, now it seems to be perfectly logical. Do not worry about this if the baby is feeding well and gaining weight appropriately.

Do not worry - your baby's weight is normal as per last month's weight

Please get back to me with her current weight
Detailed Answer:
Hi...she was slightly underweight at birth.
All other answers you have provided seem fair enough and are not suggestive of any major problem.
With the information you have provided this doesn't seem a problem. Moreover her weight was 6kg 1 month back, which was appropriate.
But I need her exact current weight please. I have asked the same in my first question. I suggest you get her weight checked and get back to me please.
