Suggest Anti-anxiety Medication To Be Taken With Oxycodone
Question: I have taken 50mg of Oxycodone 2 hours ago. I am having a panic attack and I am wondering which one of my medications I am prescribed will work best and have the fewest side effect with the Oxcodone. I have Xanax 1mg tablets, Ativan 1mg tablets and Klonopin 1mg Tablets. which one of these would be best for my current situation? I also took 60mg of Cymbalta 3 hours ago. I am prescribed all of these medications. I just need professional advice on which anti-anxiety medication would be best to take with the Oxycodone and the Cymbalta help with my bad panic attack?
Brief Answer:
Xanax will be the best choice
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Icliniq.
I read your query and understand your concerns about impending panaic attack.
Xanax will be the best choice for immediate control of panic attack. If you are already taking any of them on regular basis you can take one mg xanax.
In case you are not taking any of these medications even half of xanax can work for you for control of panic attack on emergency basis.
I need to explain that cymbalta and oxycodone do not have any significant interaction with xanax in therapeutic dose range. It is safe to go upto 2 mg of xanax with current prescription.
I hope this helps you.
Thanks and regards.
