Brief Answer:
Do not take any antibiotic without consulting dentist

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for writing in.

Its nice to hear that you want to have knowledge of medicines. There is no need to take any antibiotic after scaling, you may use 0.2% chlorhexidine mouthwash half an hour after brushing for bad breath & gingivitis.Post surgery you should take antibiotic & its salt varies with extent of trauma in surgery & which salt suits you.Although cefixime 200 mg in adult is safest antibiotic given, rest depends on cases.
Its my sincere advise do not any medicine without physicians or your dentist advise.

Hope I answered your query

Wishing you good health
