Question: I take 100 mg Norpace twice daily. I was diagnosed with bronchitis two weeks ago and was given doxycycline for ten days. I finished the antibiotics four days ago and am now cough up yellow/green again. Due to the fact that Norpace interacts with most antibiotics. I am at a loss. I am also allergic to penicillin. What other antibiotics do I have to choose from?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Greenish yellow expectoration is commonly seen with gram negative bacterial infection.
So better to take either levofloxacin or Azithromycin.
Please let me know
1. Have you checked for chest x ray?
2. Do you have chest pain while coughing?
