1. Is High blood pressure of Mild to Moderate Hypertension?
2. Are you taking any medicine for that? If yes then dose and duration?
3. Any risk factors associated with high blood pressure: smoking/alcohol/ salt intake, high blood sugar/abnormal cholesterol/overweight/sedentary life style?
4. Any associated disease present in you and any family history of high blood pressure in family?
PS. any baseline investigations like Kidney function test, chest X- ray, Electrokardiogram done
Do revert back with your concerns for further line of management.

i. Avoid salt and salt rich diet like: chutney, sauce, pickles, pop corn, namkeen, namkeen biscuits, papad, cheese, wafers, salted biscuits, salted peanuts/cashew nuts, salted butter milk.
ii. Low fat diet: avoid saturated oils, deep fried foods, and unskimmed milk.
iii. Increase fibre intake i.e. leafy vegetables, pulses and legumes, use skimmed or double toned low fat milk.
iv. take potassium rich foods like grapes,mosumbi.

1. XXXXXXX vati/hridyamrit vati & arjunarishta are CARDIOTONIC [giving strength to the muscles of the heart and also boost the immune system]
2. Brahmi vati/ Tablet Mentat & Ashvagandharishta are NERVINE TONIC [calming the mind]
PS. As the prescription covers both the Psychosomatic part of hypertension thus will be very effective in controlling the symptoms.
Dosage:
. take XXXXXXX vati [1 tablet] before breakfast with water
. both "arishta" are taken with equal amount of water [daily twice] and after food and not on empty stomach. 15 ml each [30ml] with equal amount of water [ 30 ml] i.e. 60ml twice daily.
. Brahmi vati or tablet mentat: 2 tablets during bed time. [at night]

1. going by your history it seems that there is presence of high blood sugar with high blood pressure [diabetic hypertension] and hypertension increases risk of diabetic complications especially eye and kidney problems, thus check
i. with an Ophthalmologist for eye examination [diabetic retinopathy]
ii. with a nephrologist for [diabetic nephropathy]
iii. with a Cardiologist for any circulatory complications
2. In Ayurveda management of disease is:
A. Diet: green/horse gram,bitter gourd, amla,turmeric,black pepper,brisk walk, pumpkin,radish,spinach,bottle gourd,cauliflower,tomato,cucumber,lady finger,brinjal,pomegranate,pears,jamun,oranges,mosumbi,oatmeal, brown rice, whole grains, spinach,green beans, broccoli.
Avoid: newly harvested rice/seeds, milk,butter milk,jaggery,sugarcane,day time sleeping,cold water,black gram,ghee,blood letting.
PS. drink water of bark of 'vijaysar' [contact your local grocery store]
B. Herbal Formulations: Chandraprabha Vati, HYPONIDD, Diabecon, Arogyavardhini Vati, Trivang Bhasm, XXXXXXX XXXXXXX ras.
