Suggest Ayurvedic Treatment For Uterine Fibroid

Question: I have been anaemic due to heavy flow during periods caused by the presence of a uterine fibroid. I have prescribed "Pause M" to control the flow which is now under control. Is there a way to dissolve or shrink the fibroid with dietary changes or change of lifestyle or Ayurvedic medicines? I do not want to undergo surgery for removal of the fibroid or hysterectomy. Please suggest.

Weight and height: Weight 70 kg and height is 163 cm respectively.

How long you are suffering from this condition?
3 years.

What medication you tried and how long you are using the medicine:(apart from pause M): None. Taking "Pause M" since October 2014.

Occupation : Office job

Lifestyle and diet habit:
Sedentary lifestyle mostly with 3-4 days yoga or walking.

Menstrual cycle detail (right from your menarche):
Menarche at 13yrs. Regular at 28 days and lasts 4-5 days.

Any other medical conditions like thyroid,diabetes or any?
None.

Thanks for your reply.
As your bmi indicates you are overweight.
First you should reduce your weight with more fiber and less calorie food.
Continue practicing yoga especially postures (asanas)which regulates reproductive system.

Regarding your anaemia kindly take fig,pomegranate, fenugreek more in day today food practise.
Ayurvedic medicine -Lohasavam- 20ml with 60 ml of water before food twice a day.
This will solve your anemia problem.

as main concern of fibroid in uterus depends on how much size .

As medication like kanchanara gugulu, XXXXXXX moola kulika,satavari rasayanam, gandhaga rasayanam,certain chendoorum like arumuga cheendoorum were used in fibroid treatment.
As depends on the patients constitution,an ayurvedic physician should examine thoroughly and to decide on drug of choice.
It also includes diet recommendation and panchakarma (if needed) and yoga .

So i conclude fibroid can be treated in ayurvedic medication with proper investigation.if the size is more than 3 cm . treatment duration may differ. If the size is more prognosis will be tough enough.and we should accept the limitations of every branch of medicine.
