Suggest Basic Medication For High BP And Cholesterol Levels
Question: Hi Doctor ,
I am 67 years old and taking medicine Tab.Metzok25, Tab. Tellzy 40 and censpram 10mg and Atorvas CP for cholestrol and my BP remains almost 90/130. My bad cholesterol is some but high and very rigid to diet and avoid all oily, fatty and pure non veg. and walk in the morning with some Yoga. I have reduced my weight from 77kg to 71 kg in one year. Can you suggest the best and minimum medicine which can serve the purpose in all in one.

I have gone through your query.Thanks for using HCM.
First of all let me tell you that your blood pressure control with Metzok and Tellzyis quite satisfactory and it is scientific guide line that one must continue same drugs in same doses which give you target control of BP.so i suggest that you can take combination of Metzok and Tellzy in one pill which is available in market.This will decrease number of tablets but not medicines.
secondly you need Atorvas for control of high cholesterol which is also to be continued life long.
Censpram is antidepressant medicine.I feel that you are having good life style and you are doing yoga, so you should be able to discontinue it, after discussing with your treating doctor.(you should not stop it suddenly without discussing with him)
so at the end you will need 2 tablets a day 1.One tab containing combination of Metzok and Tellzy.2.Atorvastatin.
I feel 2 tablets a day is quite acceptable for managing your hypertension and high cholesterol. Ofcourse life style you are following is quite good and must be continued in the same way.

It is not understood as to why should not wrote down the name of the tablet two in one i.e. combination of Metzok and Tellzy, which is available in the market. I hope you will write THE BEST medicine instead of going to my Dispensary Doctor of Govt. Deptt. So please take trouble to write the best and effective tablet keeping in view all the above .Thanks a lot.

You were to suggest the name of the tablet substitute of both the tablet in one tablet.
