Suggest Best Body Moisturizers
Question: My question is about lotion. Is there a moisturizer I can use from head to toe? I like things simple Do I really need several different moisturizers? Also is men's skin really different from women skin?

I have noted your concerns.
Several patients of mine have come up with similar query in the past. I advise the following plan to them and invariable they have reported that it works for them efficiently.
1 Most of the moisturizers work on the same principle, that is, to hold up water content of the skin by providing hydration and by blocking escape of water from the skin.
Therefore, it does not really make a big difference as to which moisturizer do you use and on which body part
2 Scalp is best treated by application of oils since use of moisturizer would create messiness. Again, it is personal choice as to the oil used.
3 Some normal individuals have excessive dryness and in certain skin disorders too the same phenomenon is observed. For such subjects, it is better to use a moisturizer or oil just before using towel to dry the body following bath as this tends to retain moisturizer for longer.
4 If at all, one needs to use a separate moisturizer for face and neck, then one surely can but there is no special advantage in doing so except that some moisturizers for face might have sun-screening effects which varies from among different products.
As far as separate moisturizers for men and women is concerned, the difference is hardly perceptible and is unlikely to adversely affect their use if a lady uses a moisturizer for men and vice versa.
