Brief Answer:
Start with semi solid food.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on HCM.
You should start with semi solid food first.
Semi solid food like mashed fruits, vegetables, formula feeding like cerelac etc.
Also give breast feeding upto 9-10 months of age.
Give either breast feeding or water in between feeds.
Keep head end slightly up, to prevent reflux and choking.
If at any moment while feeding semi solid food, he becomes breathless, skin becomes bluish or he vomits then suddenly stop the feeding and consult your pediatrician.
Gentle patting on the back while feeding will also prevent choking and reflux.
So you can try this while giving him semi solid food.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wishing good health to your son.
Thanks.
