Based on the information provided by you, it seems you have diabetes
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Welcome
Based on the information provided by you it seems like you have diabetes.
I would suggest you to repeat the test again and if they are high then it is confirmed.
For reference I'll give you values, a level of FBS 126 mg/dL or above, confirmed by repeating the test on another day, means that you are having diabetes.
According to the WHO criterion, if the amount of blood-sugar two hours after a meal is greater than 200 mg% on two separate occasions, diabetes is present.
I would suggest you to repeat the investigation and see physician for help. Investigation that need to be done -
Fasting glucose levels
Post prandial sugar levels( 2 hours after meals, a sample is taken and glucose levels are ascertained) and
Glycosylated Haemoglobin (which would tell you about the average levels in the past 2-3 months)
It is also important to realize that infections are difficult to control in patients with uncontrolled diabetes. So, it would be best that you visit your physician at the earliest.
Based on the values, dietary restrictions alone will not be sufficient, you need media also.
Regrading food : you should restrict direct sugar intake and product with high sugar level. Take 5 to 6 portion of vegetables and fruits every day. But fruits like XXXXXXX sugarcane, sapota, grapes and date be avoided. Rice, potato, processed flour contains high carbohydrate, intake of this need to be restricted.
It is good that you are doing regular exercise. Keep up the effort.
I hope this helps. I will be glad to adress your further queries. In case you do not have further query, please accept the answer.
Take care
