Suggest Diet For Ulcerative Colitis

Question: I am suffering from ulcerative colitis. What type of diet should I eat.
Brief Answer:
no change in diet
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
There are no dietary restrictions during ulcerative colitis.
Avoid those products which you feel increase your symptoms.
In some people caffeine like in carbonated drinks can increase the stool frequency. Similarly milk products can worsen diarrhoea.
But remember these foods are not contraindicated in ulcerative colitis and do not cause worsening of ulcers.
In case you don't have problems after taking them you need not stop.
Hope this helps
