Brief Answer: Need to control diabetes first. Detailed Answer: Dear XXXXXXX hi!. it seems you have recently been diagnosed with diabetes. as you have already started taking walaphage 850 mg , make it twice a day , after breakfast and after dinner. you have also started walking 4 km a day. please continue with that. dietary restrictions are - 1. no sweets, no sugar, no jaggery, no honey, ie nothing sweet or sweetened. 2. no juices, no soft drinks, no aerated drinks. 3. nothing fried. 4. no maida ie white bread, pizza, pasta, pav etc. genital infection will be controlled once sugars are controlled, along with the drugs. you may check your sugars on once a week basis, fasting and PP and let us know. regards!

Brief Answer: Side effect of metformin Detailed Answer: Dear XXXXXXX hi! you are facing the side effects of metformin. wala phage 850 mg twice a day is bit strong for you to start. so you may change to some other drug like XXXXXXX gliptins or vildagliptine in metformin 500 mg combination. for initial few days you may take drugs like pantoprazole 40 mg along with it. regards!
