Brief Answer:
akt4 should be taken for two months, then another regimen has to taken

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

AKT4 contains four drugs (rifampicin, isoniazid, pyrazinamide and ethambutol). There are 4 tablets which contain:
- 1 of them contains ethambutol and isoniazid
- 2 of them contain pyrazinamide
- 1 of them contains rifampicin

The contents are clearly indicated on each dose package.

Rifampicin is better taken with an empty stomach that is at least 30 minutes before or 2 hours after meals.
Food is irrelevant for the rest of them. Always take pills with a glass of water.

The recommended duration of treatment is 8 weeks x 7days that is 56 doses. Keep in mind that this is only the treatment for the first 2 months. After this treatment is over, she will have to continue treatment with less drugs. Her doctor should advise her accordingly.

Kind Regards!
