Brief Answer:
Amaryl M2 is more stronger than M1.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your question.
Noted your concern.

Tab Amaryl M1 contains Metformin 500mg and Glimepiride 1mg.
Tab Amaryl M2 contains Metformin 500mg and Glimepiride 2mg.

Metformin decreases insulin resistance and helps in lowering blood sugar level in diabetic patients.

Glimepiride increases insulin secretion from pancreas in a dose dependent manner that is more the dose more is insulin release and more decrease in blood sugar level.

That's why blood sugar lowering effect Of Amaryl M2 is more than Amaryl M1.

Your experience may be just an accidental finding.

Though there may be rare possibility that with use of Amaryl M2 blood sugar may have decreased to hypoglycemic level to compensate that low blood sugar level, body (Liver and Kidney) produces sugar and there may paradoxical rise in blood sugar level detected while testing blood sugar level.

There may be need for detailed history taking.
Better to discuss this issue with your treating doctor.

Hope this helps you.
