Question: I was prescribed AMITIZA 24mcg once a day over 10 days ago with absolutely no results. Is doubling the dose safe?

Hi and thank you for asking!
You are reporting to have been using amitizia 24 Mcg once per day.
Usually in clinical practise it is recommended amitizia 24 Mcg twice per day.
So it is too safe to double your dose of amitizia.
Otherwise at such situation it is recommended liquid diet to avoid constipation.
At your situation since you are treating with levotiorxine I would suggest to check T3, T4 and TSH level.
