Suggest Dosage For Amoxicillin And Augmentin

Question: My 18 year old daughter is in Italy. She has a bad sore throat and very swollen glands and a fever she thinks (but no thermometer). She has had it for 2 days. She went to the pharmacy and they prescribed 500 mg of amoxicillin three times a day for four days. She jst took augmentum 6 weeks ago for a sinus infection. should she take the amoxicillin as prescribed or take 500mg twice a day for 6 days or not take it at all? I think she already started it...

Hello

She can take Amoxyclav twice daily or Amoxicillin twice daily would be enough.
Also take tablet vitamin c once daily and use hexidine gargles.
I will also suggest combination of diclofenac plus serratiopeptidase twice daily.
Take all for 5 days.
All the medicines I have prescribed will be available only on prescription.
