Question: My doctor prescribe me with cymbalta. I just take 30 mg. for 4 days. The side efects were horrible. I was shaking, have nausea. I felt like I was in another place. I stop taking it. What is best for the pain? I am taking oxicocet but it does not work anymore. I had a car accident a year ago. Now I am taking 4 a day. 1 after breakfast, 1 after lunch, 1 after supper, and, 1 at 9p.m. They don't work. As soon as I take the first one I feel the pain after 2 1/2 hours but I wait until after lunch. I do not know what to do!!! Help me please.
Thank you

You did well by withholding the drug as it was causing side effects to you. You may take Excedrin Extra strength; and, Lyrica by mouth.

I suggest for you:-
Physical therapy and
Cognitive therapy.
Pain management therapy.

It is more like a dependance of drug and in such a situation patient get benefit from the above three therapies. You will feel real good with this management. Your Primary Care Physician will help you for referral.
