Question : Within the past couple of months, I've been prescribed Doc-Q-Lace, and later, a different physician prescribed Docusate Sodium (generic). Is there any reason to believe that the Doc-Q-Lace worked better (even though at 100mg b.i.d), rather than the Docusate Sodium (even though at 100mg t.i.d)?
Brief Answer:
No
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
These drugs should exactly in the same manner. None would be better than the other. The only advantage is that the generic is less expensive. Otherwise, they are exactly the same but for naming and branding. They work exactly identical to each other.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.
