Suggest Dosage For Goodova And Oosure-M After Follicular Study
Question: hi dr. I got Follicular study done in last 2 cycles and on examining the pattern , my dr. suggested Goodova twice a day for 5 days and Oosure M twice a day for 5 days. And Fertisure F alsoNow today I got periods. And want to know if I should follow the same medicines again in this cycle? And should I go for Follicular study again? If yes, from which days should medicines be taken and ultrasound be done.

I understand your concerns about starting ovulation induction again with the same medicines.
Following is my reply:
1) It is important to get transvaginal ultrasound scan ( TVS ) follicular study done at beginning of the cycle to check if there is ovarian cyst. Treatment cannot be started if ovarian cyst is present. Hence please get TVS done to check the same and then proceed with medicine.
2) You can start goodova for 5 days twice a day as in last cycle. Oosure is not necessary.
3) Request your doctor to add gonadotropin injections ( HMG ) this cycle which improve follicles and lead to higher pregnancy rates.
4) Remember to repeat follicular study by TVS again on 10th day to assess the growth of follicles. Next scans can be decided based on follicular growth on 10th day.

hCG injections to be taken for ovulation only when follicle size reaches 18 mm or more. I am talking about HMG injections which help in increasing follicle size and number.
