Suggest Dosage For Lyrica
Question: Can Lyrica be taken every second day to reduce side effects. I take 75mg daily for neuropathic pain for which it is quite effective. However I don't like the woozy feeling that I experience,
Brief Answer:
it's taken 2-3 times daily
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
lyrica is normally given in 2-3 doses each day. Perhaps you can try to take 25mg three times per day. Taking it once every second day means that its effects would have been over long before the next dose. 36 hours is the maximum time that lyrica has some effect. Normally its effect will be over much sooner.

Are the 25mg capsules available on the PBS in Australia? Or can I cut the 75mg capsules in half and take half a capsule night and morning.
Brief Answer:
you can't cut the capsules, but it should be available
Detailed Answer:
I don't practice in Australia but I did a little search and it seems that PBS covers pregabalin. All four packages were mentioned (25,75,150,300mg). So you should be able to find it.
