The recommended maximum dose of Lyrica (Pregabalin) is up to 600 mg / day.
I would not recommend you to take more of it without your doctor's permission.
In my opinion, you should do hot fomentation of the affected area and apply local pain killer gels like Volini over the area.
Once your doctor is back, discuss with him my opinion of adding Tramadol for the purpose of pain additionally to Lyrica.
