Suggest Dosage For Sizodon

Question: I am taking sizodon 2 mg since 3 years and initially for 1 and a 1/2 years the dosage was 2 talets of 2 mg twice a day...then it got reduced to 2 mg 2 tablets at night...then after it got reduced to 1 and a half tablets of 2 mg at night.
My question is till what time I have to continue the medication?

Thanks for the query

The dosages are reduced based on the clinical findings and there is no set number of years one has to be kept on sizodon. If you are symptom free then your doctor might reduce the tablet over 6-8 months. However I would like to add here than some of my patients are on minimal dose of Sizodon as maintenance for several years.
