Question: i take 100mg of trazodone for insomnia, (every night for 3 weeks) what is my approximate blood plasma level of trazodone during the day.

I read your question and i understand your concern. Trazodone is almost completely absorbed and more absorbed with food intake. 85 to 90 % is protein bound and stays in plasma with mean plasma concentration varying from 480 to 1620 ng per ml which is dose dependant. Elimination half life is 7 to 10 hours . So i would say at the time of the day, only half the drug is in your system.
