Dear sir,

The two constituents of omega 3 that are most beneficial are the EPA and DHA.. it is recommended that you take 500 mg EPA and DHA daily to protect from heart diseases. if you are a cardiac patient then you should increase the dose to 1000 mg daily. Omega 3 supplements can have side effects.
