Suggest Dosage Of Baclofen And Stablon

Question: i am taking baclofen 10mg and stablon 12.5mg three times a day for alcohol de addiction and depression .since last 15-16 days. and haven't drink since then. so do i need to increase in doses of baclofen or not. in terms of depression , i am feeling a lot better.

I can understand your concern. The dose of BACLOFEN 10 mg and Stablon 12.5 mg three times a day are good doses. You have started the drugs since last 16 days and stopped the alcohol about 16 days back. As you have just started taking the drugs so I don't think there is need to increase the doses. You are also feeling better so continue to take the medicines as per prescription and more improvement would occur.

thanks. that answers my question. so if i go on feeling the same, there wont be any need to increase the dose. what will be the maintenance dose ? if i dont feel craving for the alcohol.

Wait for more time to see better response at these doses. These doses are fine and will help you in maintaining the remission. As these doses are not very high so that can act as maintenance dose also. Baclofen will help to reduce the craving and is in fine doses.
