Brief Answer:
one dose should be needed at 40mg

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Clexane is one of the anticoagulants that can be used in the treatment or prevention of DVT.

It would normally be injected 1 to 2 hours before the flight. Because it can be given every 12 to 24 hours depending on the dose then you would need only one dose.
The 40mg dose is normally used once daily in persons with restricted mobility which is the case of a prolonged flight.

Other preventative measures would be : keeping hydrated, avoiding any restrictive clothing or baggage and in flight exercises.

These measures would reduce the risk by about 2/3 or more.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
