Question: My dr upped my Effexor of 75mg to 112.5. Can I take it in 2 doses? 75 in a.m and 37.5 in p.m.?

Hello,
Effexor can be taken all at once or in divided doses. Some people feel that they have less side effects if they take it in divided doses. You can take it as you describe above.
If it makes you sleepy at all after taking the 75mg dose then you could also take that at night and take the 37.5 dose in the morning.
Either way will increase your blood levels. I hope this works for you and that you are feeling much better soon,
