Question: My seven year old daughter has been given zedocef 100mg , five ml twice a day for seven days , for throat infection .Can i stop after five days ?

Usually 5 day course of antibiotics is enough for throat infection.
If your child is otherwise well without fever, you can safely stop it.
No need to worry.
Continue lanzol for acidity.

Thank you sir ! The doctor has prescribed her lanzol 15 for a month . It's been five days that I have started with the medicine but there is no improvement . Also right now she is on antibiotics because of the sudden throat infection . My questions are

1. How long will it take for the acidity to subside and her to come back to her normal diet ? She has lost one kg and is a very skinny child .

2 she experiences nausea only in the night after dinner . When should I consider doing any other advanced tests ?

I am extremely worried and depressed , losing my patience bit by bit everyday ...please help

1. Acidity control may take 2 to 3 weeks.
2. Limit night intake. Ensure she eats atleast 2 hours prior to sleep.
