Suggest Dosage Of Mifepristone And Misoprostol To Avoid Pregnancy
Question: I am 9 weeks pregnant. How to use (a kare) combipack of mifepristone 200 mg and 4 misoprostol 200 mcg tablets to avoid pregnancy. Please reply soon its urgent. I had sex on 25th october and took i pill on 26th. but it seems it didn't work. Now they told me to swallow mifepristone in empty stomach with black tea and swallow others tablets in the duration of 12 hours. please suggest if any other means or correct means to take the tablets or if i have to change the tablets also. I can't go for surgical.

Firstly I would like to suggest you that it is not safe to take the MTP pill yourself without consulting a gynecologist.
At most places it is not an over the counter drug and is available only on prescription but if you already have prescription and procured the kit then it has a specific pattern of intake
Kit consists of one large tablet to be taken at once and then after 48 hours of that take the rest of the tablets In kit which are four in number.
After taking full kit, abortion occurs anytime between 6 hours to 5 days.
But in few patients there can be an incomplete abortion or excessive bleeding per vaginum and in that case you have to visit a gynecologist.

I already have the kit.Please tell me the procedure. i have my family with me. but can't go outside right now. Should i swallowed the mifepristone right now or in the morning in empty stomach with black tea. what about the other four tablets. how to take them . time interval and whether to take orally or vaginally.

Take mifepristone orally just now as no relation with empty stomach and black tea.
Then after 48 hours take rest four tablets vaginally and then rest in bed for an hour or so so that vagina absorbs the drug properly.

Thankyou very much Mam.... I will take everything according to you. But is it possible if i swallow the rest of the 4 tablets or keep it in mouth under the tongue. What is the difference in result if I take it Vaginally or swallow it. Also can I take brufen for pain..... And how I will get sure about the abortion.

My question is after taking all medication all went like you said. For 4 days I bleed and Passage of piece of flesh came out. After some days bleeding also decreased and stopped. But after few days it again started. Although it is little like 4 5 drops a day. But still it continues. Is there any problem?? So take tablet misoprostol 400 mg tomorrow morning and then there will be some bleeding and pain in lower abdomen for a day or two.

You can resume your sexual activity once you stop bleeding.

Please suggest how to take misoprostol. orally or vaginally. Although i don't want to take it again because of the bleeding and pain.Although i do not bleed whole day. it happened when i getup after some hours. And one more thing, that i use to exercise and I exercised with jumping rope few days back and bleeding started after that. i immediately stopped exercise. And what about the antibiotics whether it is necessary to take them. if yes pl suggest the name. And when will my next normal period begin?????????????

Take misoprostol as advised and preferably vaginally but in case you are hesitant then take it sublingually.

i was abt to take the medicine misoprostal as you advised but from yesterday i am having heavy bleeding with spotting also... it seems like periods but there is also spotting. if it is my normal period whether i should still take the misoprostol (vaginally). when will all this end????whether it will cause any side effects. please suggest further course of action...

From next cycle onwards start oral pills so that you have good contraception and thus relieved from unwanted pregnancy.
