my baby boy is 10 months old (23rd XXXXXXX 2014) and he is on formula milk (farex) and his mother feeding .
in XXXXXXX as farex not available, request you to suggest alternate brand .

Nestum rice or Cerelac rice are two different cereal based brands that can be given to a child of 10 months age. If you wish to supplement it with a milk based formula like NAN Pro 2 or Similac Advance Stage 2. But I would not suggest giving only a milk based formula although giving only a cereal based formula will suffice

Milk or milk based formula, no longer remains adequate for a child beyond 6 months of age. The child remains hungry even after receiving Farex or milk based formula, I think you should increase the frequency of semi solid diet including cerelac or rice based diet to at least 4-5 times a day leaving the rest for milk based formula. You may give cerelac at night too.
You can also give home made semi solids like mashed bananas or rice and pulses boiled together with vegetables and then mashed up.
