Questions:
1. What was the birth weight?
3.1 kg
2. How is the attaining of developmental milestones?
He is not really attending developmental milestones once we moved from XXXXXXX to US. Mostly less than 5 % on a growth chart
3. Is the stool oily and floats in the pan?
no not that oily kind of normal
4. Is there any colour change in the hair or skin?
no
5. Is there any history of recurrent serious infections?
no
6. How many times does he pass urine per day and is the quantity appropriate?
4 Diapers a day
7. Is there any recurrent diarrhoea or vomiting?
No
8. Does he retch and vomit after each feed?
No
The only time he tend to avoid food and formula is when he has cold and cough which last around 7 days. He got cold and cough almost 3 times in a span of last 6 months.
For that reason I ordered 3 boxes of Nan 2 Pro to validate if its the formula or something else. Also when he is normal he eats 3 meals - The khichi is normally heavy with all the pulses, rice and ghee tadka but not really helping.

Brief Answer:
He needs evaluation please
Detailed Answer:
Hi....there are 2 issues in your kid -
1. From the history you have provided, he doesn't seem to have anything serious going on. For some reason or the other he doesn't seem to like food. The only option in such a case would be to make whatever small amount he eats calorie dense.... That is by adding lot of ghee or butter to his food.
2. If I were your pediatrician, I would suggest you do the following tests so that we can be doubly sure that nothing pathological is going on.
Tests - CBC, renal function tests, liver function tests, Urine routine analysis.
One last question - were either of the parents like this, underweight in this age?
