Suggest Home Remedies To Avoid Pregnancy

Question: Hello, me and my partner had an intercourse with protection ( condom ) on 22 of April. And her periods is usually on 2 or 3 of every month.it's already 7 now, and We are still waiting for her periods to come. There are some natural home remedies to avoid pregnancy. Like taking aspirins, eating papaya , sesame seeds intake. Parsley etc.
Please guide me as to how to avoid pregnancy and whether these steps are effective ? Thank you.

1) In early stage, medical abortion is done with abortion pills under supervision of local gynecologist if pregnancy test is POSITIVE. Post pill abortion, one ultrasound scan is needed to check for retained bits or placental tissue. In 5% cases, D & C is required to evacuate uterine cavity.

2) On NEGATIVE test, progesterone pill like Norethisterone is required for 3-5 days to induce period. In that case, you need to take complete prescription from your doctor.

Is it safe for a woman of 22 to go through these medications sir?

She has her exams until 20 of may.

1) Most important thing is home pregnancy test with morning urine sample. It should be done at the earliest. Further treatment or management can be done after reviewing test result.

hello Dr,

I have done the test now, I had taken the mornings first urine sample in a bottle, and did the test after 5 hours now. the test is showing only one C line. which means it is negative. but is it fine to do the test after 5 hours of collecting the urine? please guide , I am still waiting for my periods. thank you so much for your help.

Yes, it is quite fine if pregnancy test is done after 5 hrs of collecting urine sample. Test result is NEGATIVE and you are not pregnant.
