Question: Question for Dr Ratnesh Pandey - My maid, approx 30 years age, is suffering from cold, cough and fever. She has suffering from severe cough, which increases in the night and throat ache, accompanied by mild fever and body pain. The throat becomes very sore and dry when she wakes up in the morning. Thick cough is coming out once in a while. Bad pain in her head (forehead and above) especially while coughing. Please suggest a homeo medicine soon.

1 Phytolacca Q 20 drops with half cup XXXXXXX warm water three times in day.
2 XXXXXXX bich 30 6 pills twice in day

My sister has similar cold since last 3-4 days. But she has more of running nose and a congestion like sound in her throat. She also has a susceptibility for cold and cough. Could you please prescribe for her as well?

Allium cepa is acute acting medicine and indicated in case of cold where there is running nose. If he is also having same symptom then you can give the same medicine to him also. You can also countinue prescribed medicine for heart.
